APMP Professional Certification Program

Shipley is an officially approved training organization, Accredited Training Organization (ATO), by the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP). All trainings that are offered by BidBox are constantly reviewed by APMP. Trough the participation at BidBox trainings you will earn credits for the continuity of your APMP Certification.

The APMP Certification Program is a three-step process for the certification of professional proposal and bid managers.


Foundation-Level (Knowledge)

This is the first level of the APMP Certification Program and the only level available for non-members. The minimum requirement is one year experience of proposal management.
With the Foundation Examination and Certification, the participants can prove, that they understood the basics of proposal management. The APMP Body of Knowledge with the APMP BOK is available as the basis for the exam content.


Practitioner-Level (Experience)

As an APMP practitioner, the application of theoretical knowledge must be proven in practice. This is done based on presentations of project examples, in which the use of the Proposal Management basics must be proven. The Foundation-Level Certification is a requirement for the Practioner-Level certification.


Professional-Level (Advancement)

For the APMP Professional Level, the use of expertise, the further development of Capture & Proposal Management and the transfer of expertise must be proven. The Practitioner-Level Certification is a requirement for the Professional-Level certification.
